REVISION OF OUTLINE PLANNING APPROVAL BY ADJUSTMENT OF RED LINES
Representatives of Netherton Neighbourhood Association interviewed the Duty
Planning Officer in Bayard Place on Tuesday 10th November 2009
and after examining plans and documentation there was general agreement that
not sufficiently clear plans and documentation had been provided and that
following our meeting the Duty Planner would discuss with her seniors
provision of more detailed and clearer information to help residents to make
confident comments or objections.
It is
appreciated that it is sometimes very difficult to get ‘things‘ done in busy
offices but as a 14 day time limit had been put on these two applications
and as nothing has been either seen or heard of provision of new information
residents may appear to be falling out of time and that may mean that a
legal and proper consultation has not, in fact taken place.
However, from our meeting and our representatives previous experience of
planning documentation, and in conjunction with Planning Application
09/01186/FUL for a Sports and improved play area, car parking on the
Westwood Grange Playing field Area, Mayors Walk we agreed with the Planning
Officer that these two revisions were an adjustment of site boundary to
accommodate the works of the above application and also to lessen the
numbers of houses proposed to be built upon the remaining allotment land.
If the
joint assessment of NNA representatives and the Duty Planning Officer is
accurate then NNA has no objection to the two red line revisions.
