Matters arising from those Minutes |
Re-consideration was given to Item 15 Lindridge which had not been correctly
recorded and was amended to delete the last sentence in its entirety and
insert between the words passageway “the path behind the houses of Walcot
Walk".
With this amendment the Chairman signed the Minutes.
The chairman reported that there would not be a traffic island at the new
entrance to Edith Cavell Hospital. Traffic lights will be erected by the
latest of the three contractors who have worked on this road.
The Secretary would report as Agenda Items arose.
Mr. Tom Heath,
substituting for Mrs. Griffin, read through the prepared report. NNA was
solvent and that application had been made to PCC for funding for the year
2009/2010.
The Secretary
reported that this was a particularly high profile meeting with an excellent
preparation and content. A presentation document was placed on file. This
was an initial meeting of a far reaching joint authority’s initiative and we
await an outcome.
It was anticipated
that the Police Meeting at PDH on 14th May will be very well
attended and it was recommend that early attendance was required if one
wished to have a seat. There will be several high profile initiatives
under discussion relating to Netherton.
Planning Application
09/00156/FUL 80, Ledbury Road. NNA had approved and submitted comments on
this application
Planning Application
09/00331/FUL 1-3, Winslow Road. NNA had approved and submitted comments
to PCC on this application.
Planning Application
09/00381/FUL 2 Lindridge Walk. NNA had approved and submitted comments on
this application to PCC.
Planning Application
09/00335/FUL 2, Denham Walk. NNA. Had approved and submitted comments to
PCC on this application.
The Crane on the
Edith Cavell Site would be taken down on 20th May. Three
previous attempts had failed due to weather.
Members discussed at
length the ever increasing number of HGVs which were moving 24/7 through
Atherstone Avenue, Ledbury Road, Audley Gate. It was pointed out that
these very heavy vehicles, who usually are lost and trying to find a
delivery location, may be destroying the fabric of the road and are
disturbing residents on what is essentially a housing estate and not a
through traffic road. Secretary instructed to contact PCC Highway Traffic
Management to open a dialogue on the subject.
Eric Dent
Secretary
May 2009.
