This 1960’s residential area is located approximately 2k West of Peterborough City Centre.

Our boundary lines are the A47(T), Bradwell Road, Blind Lane, Thorpe Park Road, the East boundary line of Westwood Grange Allotments, Westfield Road, Atherstone Avenue, Cranford Drive, Bretton Gate.   View: Boundary map

Netherton is fortunate in being laid out to a 1960’s open plan scheme and is surrounded by purpose planted trees and landscaped open spaces.

Netherton is a diverse mixed age, mixed income, mixed nationality, mixed use community very close to the City Centre.  As you will see from the enclosed map we have about 1250 three and four bedroom houses with an average population of 2.5 persons per household possibly producing some 2,500 residents across the age range.

Our social and industrial history is, and has been, a major contributor to the economic and political structure of East Anglia.   At the moment there are activities for the re-invigoration of Peterborough.

We would like to add some photos of Netherton onto the website.  If you have any you think would be ideal please contact us.
