FITZWILLIAM QUILTERS EXHIBITION

 

Thorpe Hall, Peterborough

EDITH CAVELL HOSPITAL

 

I have received a letter from Peterborough City Council's Planning Services regarding the variation of planning permission for 05/01269/FUL to vary the time frame for a scheme of off-site highway works at Edith Cavell Hospital, Bretton Gate.  Read their letter: 05/01269FUL

PETERBOROUGH CORE STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT PLAN DOCUMENT (DPD)

 

I have received a letter from the Chief Executive's Department, PCC, regarding Peterborough Core Strategy Development Plan - Proposed Submission Stage.  Period for making representations are between 22 January 2010 and end 4 March 2010.  Please read Development Plan Document

PUBLIC OPEN MEETING FOR PLANS FOR THE GRANGE AND PLAYING FIELDS

 

We understand that the land has been sold.  Also that Prince Build and their equipment have been digging holes (testing drainage) on the Grange Playing fields between the main football pitch and a second hole at Ledbury Road.  Another company called Ennerity have also been digging holes to test drainage.

 

I have had a letter dated 5th January 2010 from Planning.  Four pages long.  Telling NNA that the Planning Application 07/01946/OUT has, after careful consideration to all consultations and representations received, the provisions of the development plan, and Government advice, the Council have given outline permission for this application Residential Development at land south of Atherstone Avenue and Portman Close, west of Grange Road and north of Mayor's Walk (part of Mayor's Walk Allotments).

 

I have also received the Plans for the new sports and children's play provision for land off Atherstone Avenue.  These Plans will affect the Grange, sports and playing fields.  See the Plans and read NNA's comments:  The Grange

NORTH & WEST AREAS OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD COUNCIL

 

NNA has invited Ms. Alison Ivatt, Manager of North and West Areas of the Neighbourhood Council to come to meet with us and give the Committee a presentation on what the Neighbourhood Councils are about and how we, NNA and residents can help both her and ourselves in the future.
